The College is housed in a new building of 1 Lakh sq. Feet. The building is not only the architectural beauty but it is functionally well planned. The college boasts of its highly qualified and experienced faculty. All the specialties are more than adequately manned by Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers, Assistant Lecturers and Dental Surgeons as per norms of Dental Council of India.

The clinical facilities for training in medical subjects are available at the Pacific Medical College and Hospital, which is a 400-bedded hospital situated in the same campus. Students out here get tremendous overall exposure to Medical subjects. Our Hospital has a flow of a large number of patients belonging to both rural and urban areas. Most of the treatment is rendered free of cost in the hospital and it also caters largely to the nearby areas and towns of Udaipur district. The Dental College holds frequent Continuing Dental Education programs and guest lectures.

We boast one of the finest lab facilities to impart liberal clinically oriented teaching on par with the best. The freshers are trained in the sophisticated phantom head labs, fitted with 100 dental workstations for pre-clinical training simulating dental treatment.


Eligibility for B.D.S

The candidate must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the BDS course. The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary examination i.e. 10+2 Higher Secondary examination. The student must have obtained 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology aggregate. For SC, ST or OBC, the minimum marks shall be 40%.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme prepares students for careers in the modern world of dental practice by combining clinical studies with basic and advanced dental sciences. Once students have mastered basic competencies in the University’s skills facilities, they rapidly move on to treating patients in both the Dental Hospital and local outreach clinics.
