Maharaj Ganga Singh Dental College & Research Centre, Sri Ganganagar is run by Sarawagi Charitable Trust which was established in 2005 and is located at 11 LNP Hanumangarh Road, Sri Ganganagar, 5 K.M. away from the main Bus stand & Railway station.
The college is surrounded by a number of neighboring villages which provide the essential clinical material so vital for the training in the field of the life sciences and in turn the health care of both rural & urban population.
Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College is recognised by dental council of India & Government of India and affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Jaipur for annual intake of 100 students in BDS Course and 18 students in MDS Students. (1) Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge - 3 Seats (2) Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics - 3 Seats (3) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - 3 Seats (4) Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry - 2 Seats (5) Orthodontics & dental Orthopaedics- 2 Seats (6) Periodontology - 3 Seats (7) Oral pathology and Microbiology - 2 Seats.
Courses
Eligibility Criteria of BDS
Students must have attained the age of 17 years on 31st of December, of the year of admission.
And must have passed the qualifying examination (of a recognized board / university) i.e. 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks in PCB (40% in case of S.C. / S.T.) with English as a compulsory subject .
Selection for BDS
The college has 100 seats in BDS Course, Seats are filled up through NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance test) / As per direction of GOI/DCI/Govt. of Rajasthan from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria of MDS:-
Candidates for admission to the MDS course(Master of dental surgery) must have a recognised degree of BDS(Bachelor of dental surgery) of an indian University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council. He/She should be registered with any State Dental Council of India. Candidates not possessing a recognized dental qualification for the above purpose should secure the prior approval of his qualification by the Dental Council of India before he can be admitted to the MDS course of the college.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme prepares students for careers in the modern world of dental practice by combining clinical studies with basic and advanced dental sciences. Once students have mastered basic competencies in the University’s skills facilities, they rapidly move on to treating patients in both the Dental Hospital and local outreach clinics.
