JIPMER Syllabus: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has emerged as one of the top five medical institutes in the country. It has been recognized by the MCI as a ‘center of excellence’ in medical education. Every year, a large number of students appear for the JIPMER entrance test. Although JIPMER does not prescribe any syllabus for the entrance examination, the Class 11 and 12 syllabi, prescribed by the State Board HSC and CBSE, will be the basis of the JIPMER syllabus.
The questions in JIPMER MBBS 2019 entrance exam will be based on the JIPMER syllabus 2019. The question paper of JIPMER MBBS 2019 will consist of five sections, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language & Comprehension, and Quants & Reasoning.

Application Fee

The Fee Payment is done with net banking, debit, credit card.

The application fee will be RS.1000 for those belonging to general categories.

The application fee will be Rs.800 for those belonging to reserved categories.

Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Mode of Payment: Candidates can submit the application fee through debit/credit card or net banking method.



JIPMER 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants opting for JIPMER 2020 should be an Indian National.

The age criteria are followed in this exam. Those applying for JIPMER must be attaining 17 years on 31st December 2020

Aspirants must be qualifying their 12th or another corresponding exam in an established university with a minimum of 50% marks in participating in the exam.

Though, aspirants under reserved category will need to obtain 40% marks.

Students must have completed their exam in the subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology

 

Nationality:

Applying candidates must be an Indian citizen.

Overseas Citizens can also apply provided they have to submit proof of registration as OCI under the Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955.

Foreign National candidates have to take permission from the Medical Council of India before applying.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualifying Examination: Applying candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 level exams or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
  • Qualifying Subjects: Candidates must have passed his/her qualifying exam with the subjects of Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, and Chemistry including English as an elective subject.
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% marks (For UR/General candidates) taken together in all subjects. For ST/SC/OBC and another reserved category, the qualifying marks are 40% together in all matters. For OPH-General candidates, the qualifying marks are 45%.
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing for their 12th level exams are also eligible to apply.

Age Criteria:

  • Applying candidates must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission. No upper age limit is prescribed.
  • There is no age relaxation for candidates of reserved categories.

 

JIPMER 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The JIPMER 2020 entrance exam will be organized online, or it will be computer-based.
  • The paper will be distributed in two languages English and Hindi.
  • The question paper will be appeared in objective type with four options to be selected.
  • The question paper will bear 200 questions.
  • The Negative marking is not appropriate for this exam.
