IBPS PO Recruitment 2020: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the IBPS PO Bank Exam which is your gateway to the much sought after bank jobs. IBPS provides its services to all Public-Sector Banks, SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other Banks which are regular members of the IBPS society.
In 2011, IBPS started the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruiting officers and clerks in Indian Banks and accepts online applications through its official website. The IBPS CWE,earlier known as the IBPS Bank PO exam has been conducted every year since then and is now happening in 2020 in its 10th edition . The IBPS CRP PO/MT-X 2020 is for selection of candidates to the 17 public sector banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). It is conducted at various locations throughout India and in online mode only. IBPS CRP PO/MT-X Prelims Exam 2020 is scheduled on 3rd, 4th & 10th October 2020 while the IBPS PO Main Examination will be tentatively held on 28th November 2020.
IBPS has released IBPS PO 2020 Exam Dates along with its Exam calendar for year 2020-21. As per the latest calendar of IBPS, the preliminary exam of IBPS PO is scheduled to be conducted on 03.10.2020, 04.10.2020 & 10.10.2020 while the mains exam is scheduled on 28th November 2020. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria - 2020

Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE exam is as basic as a graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must be in possession of a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.

Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:

A candidate applying for IBPS CWE/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:

  1. Citizen of India
  2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
  4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Age Eligibility of candidates applying for IBPS Bank PO Examination:

Any candidate who is applying for the IBPS CWE examination should not be less than 20 years old and not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. In addition to this, there is age relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules:
