How can I become a CA ?
If I will become a CA how much I will earn ?

When I was in 11 standard I was also confused with the same questions. Many of my friends and teachers told me about this course and suggested that I pursue it .

But , none of them told me what it exactly is !.

This was not the question of mine but it is the question of many students who are matric passed and who are in 11th and 12th standard.

Okie! Let me make it simple.

I 'll try to tell you the basics of this course and what are the subjects that are covered in CA course ..

 

First of all let me make you clear CA is not a bachelor's or master degree it a professional course .

Work of CA .?

CA is required in every field of finance.

Every firm working, needs a CA to audit their work in simple language to check their work and give his / her satisfactory assent.

 

About CA examinations ?

CA examinations are conducted by ICAI ( Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ) twise in a year . 1st examinations are conducted in the month of May and 2nd in the month of November .

 

CA course is a three level examination pattern.

Level 1 . CPT now CA foundation

It consists of 4 subjects. Each consists of 100 marks.

 

  1. ACCOUNTS
  2. MERCANTILE LAW AND BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE & REPORTING ( ENGLISH)
  3. QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE ( MATHS , STATS and LOGICAL REASONING)

4 . ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS COMMERCIAL KNOWLEDGE

 

In first level accounts and law I.e paper 1 and 2 are subjective paper whereas quantitative aptitude and economic I.e paper 3 and paper 4 are objective based paper .

To clear CA foundation you need to score 40% marks in every subject with an aggregate of 50%marks...

 

Level 2 . CA INTERMEDIATE

IT consist 2 groups with a total of 8 papers with the following subjects

 

Group 1

  1. Accounting
  2. Corporate Laws and other laws
  3. Cost Management Accounting
  4. Taxation

 

Group 2

  1. Advance Accounting
  2. Auditing and Assurance
  3. Enterprise information system and Strategic Management
  4. Financial Management and Economics of finance .

 

 

CA INTERMEDIATE have two groups. We can attempt group one only or group two only or we can attempt both the group's together. It totally depends on our capability .

As like CA Foundation we need an avg of 50% of marks total with 40% of marks in each subject.

 

When we clear both the group's of

CA INTERMEDIATE when I can go for our articleship ...

 

After doing articleship for three years in the last year of articleship we can appear for our last stage of examination i.e.

CA FINALS.

 

 

CA FINALS

It consists of two groups just like CA INTERMEDIATE with a total of 8 papers. With the following subjects.

 

Group 1

  1. Financial Reporting
  2. Strategic Financial Management
  3. Advance Auditing and Professional Ethics
  4. Corporate and Allied Laws

 

Group 2 .

  1. Advanced Management Accounting
  2. Information System Control and Audit
  3. Direct Tax laws
  4. Indirect Tax laws.

 

 

Same as the previous level you can go for both the groups together or you can attempt one group at a time .

Same as previous levels you need to score 50 % of marks on an avg with a total of 40 % of marks in each subject to pass out CA FINALS ..

If you talk about earning after when you become a chartered accountant so it basically depends upon your personal skills. It also depends only on you how much you are going to earn for your services.

And if you interested to know stats about the earning of CA so I would like to tell you that there are many CA who is earning more than 1 crore rupees per annum having work experience more than 8 to 10 years and on the other hand there are also many CA s who are earning 10 lakhs rupees per annum .

In this present year only ICAI has made a campus placement for fresh CA s and in which more than 3000 fresh CA had appeared and from which the highest package bagged by a CA is Rs 26lacks per annum and with an avg package of rupees

9-10 lakhs rupees per annum .
