ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

UG Course:

• Assam University BTech admission for the first 75 per cent seats is based on candidate’s performance in JEE Main. Remaining 25 per cent seats are filled based on a university-level entrance exam
• Lateral entry admission for BTech progrmme is based on marks scored by the applicant in an entrance exam conducted by the University
• Candidates interested in seeking admission to BPA programme need to appear for a written test followed by a stage performance (practical exam) in relevant stream
• Admission to remaining Assam University UG programmes is based on academic merit of the candidate and written test conducted by the University. Further, selected candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI) round

PG Course:

• MTech aspirants need to appear for CUCET. GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible for seeking admission
• Candidates willing to seek admission to MBA programme should score 60 per cent or above in CAT. Non-CAT qualified candidates need to appear for a university-level entrance exam. Further, all the selected candidates are called for a GD & PI round conducted by Assam University
• Admission to remaining PG programmes is based on a written test and interview conducted by the University

PhD & MPhil course:

• Selection to PhD and MPhil programmes is based on an entrance test conducted by the University followed by a PI round
• Candidates with PG degree from Assam University and a valid score in UGC-NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE are also eligible for seeking PhD and MPhil admission

Diploma, PG Diploma & Certificate course:

• Admission to these above-mentioned additional courses is based on merit of the previous qualifying examination
