The Legal Scenario in India has undergone tremendous changes during previous couple of decades and is undergoing radical transformation. The advent of information technology in all spheres of life has transformed the way of human working and this, coupled with psychological human traits, has changed the overall human behavior in general and conduct of civil and criminal crimes specifically. This has added to the societal and behavioral complications and has posed new challenges to the execution aspect of law. The recent past has witnessed enactment of new laws including Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, Whistle Blowers Protection Act, Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act and re-enactment/amendment of various crucial laws including The Companies Act, Criminal Law, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Securities Laws ,etc. With this changing horizon, Corporate Counsellorship, Family Lawyer ship, Cyber Law Consultancy, etc. have become emerging dimensions for law professionals.

With this backdrop, the importance of law education has increased over the recent past and is still on the go. The aspirants of law education in current scenario have increased considerably and this has imposed a new set of responsibilities on regulators and providers of law education in India. The transformed societal and behavioral environment has made practical training of future law professionals more or less mandatory. It is the demand of the time to couple the classroom conceptual imparting with practical and psychological training. The faculty and staff team at School of Law are focused to meet the core objectives of law education.


The tuition fee for all BE programs at DAVV is INR 61,250 per annum. DAVV fees structure for the B.Com program is INR 51,000 per annum. DAVV fee structure for the L.L.M program is INR 44,000 per annum. DAVV MBA fees is INR 72,444 per annum.


Academic Qualifications : The candidate must have passed the LL.M. with minimum 55% for General and OBC and 50% for SC/ST. Admission to Ph. D. (LAW) : Through Entrance by University.
