It is a very good college with good facilities in all aspects and good placements.
Placements: As I am studying in 2nd year, I don't have much idea about placements. As of now, I heard that 70% above students are placed. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top companies for recruitment are Texas Instruments and National Instruments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent. There are good classrooms, libraries and Wi-Fi facilities for students. The college has good medical facilities during emergencies, and also the food in the mess is worth, healthy and delicious. Sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: Some teachers here are well-knowledgeable and also teach extra useful things outside the curriculum. Others are above par in teaching according to the curriculum. As engineers, we must not depend only on the curriculum for placements, and we also must learn extra from ourselves and hence only then we can succeed.

Good infrastructure, placements and faculty. Gonna miss it.
Placements: In our college, there are 2 tires. Tier 1 is 5 and below 5 Lacs CTC. Tier 2 is above 5. We can have 2 offers from Tier 1 or 1 offer from Tier 1and 1 from Tier 2. In this year, almost 90% of students from my branch have at least 1 offer. Majority of companies prefer CS and IS students. But if you have good coding skills and Computer Science knowledge, the branch doesn't matter. The highest package offered in this year was by Atlassian - 48lakh CTC. (2 students got placed), Least salary offered was 1.8 Lacs CTC. Average salary would be around 8-10 Lacs CTC. Top recruiting companies are Nutanix, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Cisco. Majority of the companies offer the roles of Software Developer. Having said so testing will also be part of the work. Companies offer Internship+Full time offers to the recruited students. But some companies offer performance-based conversion to full time. If you perform well in the internship tenure, you will get converted to full-time employee. Some companies offer only full-time offers.
Infrastructure: The college got renovated in the last year (2019). My department has 3 UG labs and 1 Research lab. Computer systems are of good quality. Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus. Classrooms are equipped with Centralised AC. Library is huge. Digital library helps the students to work on a research paper or their project. You can also take your laptops to the library and study. Quality of food available in the canteen is not very good. But the quality of food in the hostel mess is quite appreciable. Outsiders also can have the food in the mess.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful whenever we approach them. Every teacher has in-depth knowledge in what they are responsible to teach. They encourage self-study. In self-study we need to choose a real-time problem and to be submitted at the end of the semester. The course makes the students Industry ready. But I personally feel that some courses could have been replaced by other courses. Other: To be frank, I didn't know much about the course while choosing it. But later in the journey, I got to know the importance of it. The IT industry has had a boom after 2010. The IT industry requires the knowledge of coding, programming, and other computer science skills. Majority of these skills were taught in my course. Some of them were made as elective. Each department conducts events every month. It could be coding events or physical activities or any other brainstorming events. Fest in BMSCE is very famous in South India. It's called Utsav. It goes for 3 days and each day has its ow

BMSCE is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Bangalore. So it is one of the preferred colleges for aspiring engineers. Coming to your question, it is better than other colleges such as SJCE, NITTE, BIT etc but is not as good as PESU, RVCE and MSRIT. These colleges have superior infrastructure, renowned faculty and advanced curriculum compared to BMSCE. So preference order specifically for CSE Department should ideally be: PESU > RVCE > MSRIT > BMSCE > other colleges. Check out the college websites about the ongoing research, faculty, Centers for Research, Placements and student activities and make informed decisions. All the

Feasible. It's no secret that financing a college education is getting tougher. College costs have skyrocketed over the past decade or so, and there's no relief in sight. Average tuition at four-year colleges will increase 7 percent this school year, double the rate of inflation. Student aid is not increasing fast enough to plug the growing gap between tuition and family finances. In addition, there is a growing number of older students entering college today.
Placement Wing
Placements - is below average. Stipend is only given through govt. When it comes to paying for college, scholarships are the best form of financial aid since they offer students free money that never needs to be repaid. But let’s face it: completing scholarship applications, especially the essays, can feel overwhelming. Not to mention, the essay is arguably the most important part of the application and should take up the majority of your time. It helps to have scholarship essay examples to start somewhere.
Well qualified and supportive except few. Most of the time it so happens that the lecturers keep grudge and that will be badly reflected in our grades. There is no uniformity in tye code of conduct of particulars of the assessment.

Course Curriculum Overview It's really a 1991 syllabus. Because of which I started to lose interest over time. So no use of studying the subject I feel. Because it cannot cope up with the current market expectations. So I strongly think there's a need for change in the syllabus. College Events Phase shift. Utsav. Outdoor activities. The first time I ever advised a student on their college application essay, I worked with a quiet student, a guy who disappeared into the back of his classes. that's why it is imp
