Indore city has a vast proliferation of educational institutions of different communities, amongst them M.B. Khalsa Education Society has carved a niche for itself as provider of quality education both, to the classes as well as masses of the city.

The members of the community elect the office bearers of the society. Currently, S. Charanjeet Singh Saini holds the post of Chairman of the Education Society along with S. Jasvant Singh Chhabra as the Vice Chairman and S. Ranveer Singh Chhabra as the Secretary.

The Sikh Community had started spreading its wings in the Malwa Region as early as 1860, but significant increment in its fame and fortune peaked by the early 1940s only. The year 1947 saw hordes of community men turning towards this city and homing it.

Most of the irnrniqrant shailed people from Mandi Bahauddin, a hamlet on the offset near Tehsil Falia, Panjab, Pakistan. The people from Mandi Bahauddin had established a Khalsa School there, and as homage, with a handful of kids in the Gurudwara Imli Sahib of Indore City, informally seeded the gigantic Institution that it has become today.

The State Government formally granted Land Lease for conducting the Institution at Raj Mohalla. The M.B. Khalsa Education Society was formally registered in 1953 under the Societies Registration Act.

Today more than 6000 students study under the aegis of the Education Society, which manage the following Institutions

M.B. Khalsa College (since 1990)

M.B. Khalsa Education College (since 2004J I.B. Khalsa law College (since 2004)

• M.B. Khalsa College of Physical Education (since 2006)

• M.B. Khalsa Boy Higher Secondary School

Courses offered & Fee Structure:

Three year Law courses (LL.B.) (Hon .)

A candidate passing the Bachelors Degree Examination in any Subjects with minimum 45% Marks from any recognized university and having an age of not more than 30 year is eligible for admission to the First Year LL.B. Relaxation of 5% in lower limit of percentages is given to candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes. Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is given to candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class.

Two Years Post Graduate Course (LL.M.)

A law graduate with minimum 55% marks (5% Relaxation as per Govt. norms to reserved Classes in Case of any recognized university is eligible for admission to LL.M.)

LL.M. comprises of four semesters examination of which is conducted in the “ Month of December & month of May”  and is conducted Devi Ahilya University Indore. Admission to LLM is purely on merit basis. “ After recognized university and having No age bar is eligible………….
