B.N.S Law College Jharkhand (Daltonganj), established in the year 1981, is presently " A unit of Bhishma Narain Singh welfare and charitable Trust " is located in heart of Daltonganj Town. It is one of the oldest college imparting legal education in erstwhile Bihar, at present in Jharkhand and pioneer institute of the Chotanagpur Region. The college was started through the effort of great legal luminaries of Daltonganj Town. The College was initially affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi and thereafter to N.P. University, Daltonganj

The College has played a great roll in producing the law graduates who have occupied the position as advocate in Honorable Supreme Court and Honorable High Court, District Judges & Judicial Officers in District court. The teaching in the college is based on the new syllabus as per instruction of the Bar Council of India. The teaching standard of the college is at par to the best legal institutions in the country.

Law Admission Notice

The process for taking admission have been started and applications are invited for admission for the session 2016-2019 of LL.B Part-I (Three Years semester Course) on prescribed form available in the college office as well as in our website on payment of Rs. 500/-(including entrance test fee) in cash or Demand draft of Rs. 500/- in the favor of BNS Law College, Payable at Daltonganj by post sending self address envelope on any working day.

A graduate of a recognized University or who passes such academic qualification which are considered equivalent to a graduate degree of a University by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi is eligible to appear in the Entrance Test for admission in LL.B. Part-I (Semester System). Appearing candidate in final year examination of Graduation may also apply. Those candidates who Graduated from correspondence medium ia also apply. No age limit for General candidates and ST/SC/Other backward communities as on 01-08-2016.
